"I was so short of time and decided I didn’t want a large party for my birthday and didn’t want the stress of slaving away all evening and missing all the fun- even though I love cooking. Ronnie arrived with a lovely lady to help serve, we had the BEST night and everyone still comments it’s the best beef they’ve ever eaten so tender and flavoursome. It was a masterclass. Plus they subtly washed up cleaned and left us to drink the night away with little fuss or fanfare. Coming down to the kitchen in the morning I was braced for the usual post party mess- there was no evidence we had had an amazing 7 course meal. Pure magic. See you in May Ronnie can’t wait!"

We were staying in Matlock and as the house had amazing views, we decided on a private dinner party so we could relax in style. We were not disappointed. As we had a number of allergies to deal with and 3 vegetarians, it was a no brainer to use a private chef. The menu created was delicious and inspiring and the food was absolutely amazing. "We used JGLS Catering for a small private dinner party (5 guests) to celebrate a 50th birthday. We'd hired a house in Aldeburgh and on the birthday night we wanted to celebrate by hosting a catered dinner party. Johno arrived promptly an hour before our chosen dining time to prepare the food. Reassured us about Covid-19 guidelines (gloves worn, surfaces cleaned, full face visor mask worn during service). The food, was absolutely delicious. Generous portions, beautifully presented, ridiculously tasty and well seasoned. Service was on point. Johno introduced each dish as it was served. Fantastic experience from table set up to full kitchen clear down. And the leftovers were very much enjoyed the next day! Thanks Johno for a great evening."
