What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To get the best and most detailed quote from us, we need every detail, small or big. From event date to a number of guests, to the surface of the floor and what you plan to use hire items for. For example, if you are wanting a marquee, is it on grass or solid ground. If you want crates, are they for tables or decor? Once we have this information, we can provide the best price straight away and recommend the best items for your event.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Definitely check reviews, you will always know about a supplier from other people that have used them. Ask as many questions as you can, if a supplier is invested in their clients, there will be no question too small or 'annoying', as some people may think.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started as a furniture and crockery hire business. We realised there was a link missing in the market to provide everything for our clients, from the marquee or venue to decor, lighting, sound, food, bar, staff and event planning and event management. We now can help with every aspect of a Wedding or Event and it is what makes us different from the rest. Our Event Team have years of experience and this is shown in the dedication and results in the work produced for clients.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Add to Event is such a great platform to speak with potential clients. We planned Jane's 40th from Add to Event. What started as an initial discussion about a marquee, quickly turned into everything for the day. We provided the decor, lighting, photo booth, bar, staff and everything in between. We loved working closely with Jane and count her as a close friend of the business now.
