Read on for their story, tips and advice to help when needing to book a similar provider.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For Bubble & Squeak to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, event location, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, and a potential venue, whether it's an indoor or outdoor event. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable quote most suited to your needs.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would ask the provider for more information, the way a business handles your enquiry shows a great deal about them as people. You want your event to run as smoothly as possible and with excellent service, so I think it's really important to get a feel for the company and see that they will be great fit that you know both you and your guests will love not only the product but also really enjoy the experience and make it memorable! I would also ask them about their licensing, insurance and hygiene rating, again for safety and compliance reasons. You want the provider to be an honest business and know that you are being provided value for your money. Finally, are there are extra little finishing touches, we love to include these and think it makes the difference between a good experience and an unforgettable one!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Bubble & Squeak's Prosecco Boutique was born out a love for making others happy and delicious Italian produce! Having worked in customer service roles, attending and working at tonnes of festivals and events with a wealth of hospitality experience, it was a culmination of all my skills and interests! Having travelled lots, I was always enamoured with the quirky Tuk Tuks and had fun dashing about in those in many a crazy country! Now I'm the crazy one, driving this awesome little Prosecco Boutique having been lovingly converted into a bar to make your event totally unique with a bubbly drinks service!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Although our fabulous Prosecco Boutique has brought bubbles to over 40 events since we launched, we are still new to Add to Event and looking forward to our first booking!
