What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a comprehensive quote we need as many details as possible...even the ones that might not appear important, they can develop ideas that can turn the event into something more bespoke.

The obvious requirements are the type of event (e.g. wedding, corporate do), the number of people attending, length of time required, types of drinks required, are there other hospitality vendors on site, location, power & water facilities, etc.

What we also find very useful is to understand the requirements for children. We provide free water from a large glass dispenser, but it's really helpful to gain some insights about the soft drinks required.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask as many questions as possible, the vendor should know the answers or be able to investigate for you. Make sure the vendor has all the required legals e.g. liability insurance, alcohol licence.

Confirm the pricing prior to the event and undertake a bit of research to make sure that the pricing is fair. Make sure the vendor can apply for a TENs licence.

Ask for reviews, referrals, examples of work.

Fizz & Friends was born out of a desire to provide drinks at events that people actually enjoyed drinking! So many times we've been to events where the choice of drinks available revolves around the profitability of the products.

We also wanted to bring a smile to events, hence we have Isabella our converted 1967 Fiat 500. She is unique, there isn't another mobile bar like her. As a result, she always starts conversations and brings something special to any wedding or party.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Add to Event has been a great supplier of leads for our business. We quickly learnt which events to focus on and the categories provided by the platform are excellent for targeting the right customers.

We expected to be targeting mainly weddings and private parties but have found various types of events via the website. We serve at school sports days and fairs, more and more corporate events are listed and we've even had a photoshoot opportunity materialise from a connection made on Add to Event.

We expect to keep using Add to Event in the future and hope that by building our presence on the site we'll garner even more business.
