What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a comprehensive quote we require the number of attendees, what kind of drinks they would like and for how long for. Some organisers state the address which is far more helpful than those that don't. This is because residential areas are not ideal for a horsebox. Horse Box bars seem to come under the same category as a pop-up bar which is very different as we need to ensure there is driveway access or clear access for the horsebox.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is always good to ask about similar events which we have attended. Our line of work is not black and white and we can alter our service to suit your needs as much as we can. Ask for reviews along with photos and videos of previous events. Find out about the history of the company and why we have chosen to do what we do. If providers are passionate about their line of work and enjoy what they do then that makes such a difference to the experience.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started Fizz and Frolics as we both have a love of fizz and experimenting with drinks and enjoy our own creations. When we met in 2015 we had so much fun drinking prosecco in the sunshine and having garden parties. We were at a point where we both wanted to work for ourselves than for companies in London. This was a joint dream of ours and to have a shared passion and do it successfully is a brilliant achievement. Customer care is key in our eyes and we want to ensure our clients have the best day whether it be a wedding, a birthday or just a public event.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Not only was our first year successful yet it was so much fun and SO much of that is down to Add to Event. One of our favourite nights was a Casino party where we pulled up at somebody's house and created our own 'casino cocktail' menu., it went down an absolute storm. A private birthday party we attended was also fantastic in the most picturesque location on the Thames. The team at Add to Event are super helpful and respond so quickly with any queries which we have. If you are starting out as a business or you've been doing it for 20 years we would definitely recommend Add to Event.
