What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To receive an accurate quotation, please confirm the event date, location, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests and potential venue and whether the event will be held indoors or outdoors. We will then be able to get back to you with our quotation.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you ask about the performers about their equipment. Do you need lights? Or just a sound system? Ask about their previous experience. If you are paying top price, you need to know things will run smoothly on the day. Make sure you ask what time the performer will be arriving, how long they will be playing for and what time they need to leave the venue.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Deeanne Music - Wedding singer was born in 2017 and we've absolutely loved singing lovers down the aisles ever since! Singing has always been my passion so I feel very honoured when someone wants me to be part of their special day. I have a huge sense of achievement at the end of each wedding I perform at.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Wow! I've had quite a few bookings through this platform since joining - it's hard to narrow it down to one particular favourite! I think being approached by John Lewis in Oxford to sing 3 events during the Xmas period is a highlight of mine!
I've also sang for quite a few lovely couples. I can never get over how amazing some of the venues are! I was lucky enough to be booked to sing at Windsor Castle - that was also pretty special.
Add to Event is still growing, I'm doing my part to spread the word!
