What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

We love tailoring our offer to the actual needs and expectations of each customer. To do so, we need to know the type of the event, the date and time, the location(s), the estimated number of guests and any particular details that may help us to figure out the style of the sought video. Close to the time of the event, we will discuss in detail the timeline, in order to produce a "shot list", which will allow us to plan in advance the filming experience.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ii is widely recognised that "an image worth a thousand words". But, considering that a video comes with some 25 to 60 frames per second, it is clear that a video can definitely "say" way more!
The videos we capture however are going even further. We are not "the guy with a camera" standing in a corner and filming everything that happens. We are qualified videographers with extensive experience in the film industry and to us making a video is telling a story, rendering emotions by mastering the cinematic rules and techniques, conveying the uniqueness of that event. So, if that's what you expect from a video, then we are your best call.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

"Another Amazing Wedding Video" is a division of a well established video production company - Red Cat Studios Group, in Southampton. Since 2005, we produce high-end cinematic experiences for private and corporate customers, in the UK and worldwide as needed. In the film industry, Wedding Videography is seen as a pariah of the guild. When we created "Another Amazing Wedding Video" we wanted above all to prove them wrong! A wedding, is a unique moment in life, we cherish a lot and would love to keep, revisit and share, once the event has ended. Done in the right way, the filming experience can produce real gems of filmmaking, where memories are captured not only with the narrative, but also with the array of feelings and emotions the day was filled with. And that is precisely what we are good at.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

It is always hard to make a selection, out of so many beautiful experiences we went through over the years. But if we had to pick one, that would be the wedding of this young couple, who had their event postponed twice, due to the Pandemic in 2020 and 2021. Rescheduled for Easter 2022, the irony made that 2 days before the wedding the hired videographer went down with Covid. The couple was mortified. Luckily, a friend of theirs called us to rescue them. We gathered the production team and discussed the matter as a top priority. We decided to offer them our Gold package, which entails 2 videographers, and to upgrade them for free to the drone footage (available usually with our Platinum package). The Day was saved for the best! The couple was so happy with the videos we provided them, that they left us immediately a 5-Star review on our page.
