What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To get a solid quote for the customer, it is super helpful for them to tell us when their event is, where the venue is located at and also what they want from us. We love to work with the client, so making it clear what you want from our product, makes the whole process go smoothly.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

For wedding videos, the main thing to ask about is the visual style of the provider. This is one of the most key aspects of a wedding video, so making sure you are both on the same page before the big day is a sure-fire way to make sure the customer receives a video they are happy with, and it is what they hoped it would be. Then you can discuss the smaller details.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started going freelance in Video Production and Photography as I wanted to work for myself and I wanted the freedom to work when and where I liked. I love being involved in all aspects of the creative process, and I love seeing a project go from its early planning stages, right through to the final product, which the customer is thrilled with. I've only recently started doing Wedding Videos, but I love it, the atmosphere on the day is always really great and positive. Making a video that someone will cherish for years to come is a great way to make a living.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had some success with Add to Event so far, booking one wedding and quoting and being in contact with potential couples very regularly. I'm hoping to put more time developing my profile and making myself more visible on the website. I strive to keep busy with work I enjoy doing, and hopefully through Add to Event, this will be made possible.
