What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Just tell me where, when and what time and give me a few details about your ideas and requirements and I’d be delighted to give you a quote. What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking for a celebrant it’s important to choose the one you get on with and feel you can trust. My services can include religious content or non at all if you prefer. I am fully trained and experienced but in addition, I am backed by the AMC who can offer me advice, ideas and support in the event of illness. I provide a beautiful website, packed with information and a contract for mutual clarity and protection. My support in the preparation of your wedding is unlimited and I arrive at least an hour in advance and allow a three-hour window for each ceremony for ease of mind.
Having worked in the wedding industry for over twenty years I have a huge list of wonderful suppliers such as musicians, florists, photographers and videographers and I even sing myself if you want someone to lead a bit of singing.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Having sung and arranged musicians for weddings and funerals for over twenty years and seen first-hand how impersonal or restrictive they can be I jumped at the chance of being a celebrant when I heard about it. I just love meeting people and finding ways around problems. I love to make things happen and help dreams come true.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I’ve only just started to advertise with Add to Event and the enquiries just keep coming in. Helen has been really supportive and helpful giving advice and has a genuine desire to make it successful for all the users of the site. My last event was through Add to Event for a couple who have been married for 53 years but never had the opportunity to have the big wedding with the bride in a beautiful dress back in the day. The occasion was planned as a surprise for the couple and bittersweet as the bride had just learnt she only has 6-12 months to live so we planned for them to renew their vows with family and friends in their daughters back garden. Being Britain, of course, it rained all day but I can truly say nothing could put a dampener on the joy of that day and the beautiful memories that were made.
