At MiD8 Entertainment, we specialise in providing professional sound equipment, lighting and DJ services for weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, and other special occasions. Our experienced DJs work closely with clients to create a customised music playlist that perfectly fits the theme and mood of the event. We pride ourselves on our ability to read the crowd, adapt to changing circumstances, and keep the energy level high throughout the entire evening.

We come complete with professional club Djs, club level audio, scripted lighting shows and around 30,000 tracks in our collection (covering 8 decades and many different genres). We of course play all the party classics, modern chart and current beats but also carry many genres not offered by other DJs and yes we DO take requests on the night!
With all this and much more we are uniquely placed to ensure your wedding, party or event is remembered for a lifetime and with our free consultations we are committed to providing our clients with exceptional customer service and going above and beyond to make sure every event is a success.

Fantastic service
Excellent service, listened to request on the evening while having a great playlist set up in between time. Really friendly service right from booking till the end. we only had a small venue for probably 20 people. The lights and sound filled the room perfectly and the most important thing is my mum enjoyed her birthday!

Fantastic Service
Jon was excellent from start to finish. He was great at keeping us informed and made sure our surprise birthday party went perfectly. The music played was great and had something for everyone. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is throwing a party as he had everyone up on the dance floor.
Great Christmas party DJ!
Jon came to our Christmas party on Friday and did a great job. He did a great job reading the room and playing music that got everyone up and dancing and took a few requests on the night.
He was really easy to work with on the up run to the party and also on the night - would definitely recommend and we will use him again next time we need a DJ.

Great DJ
Jon provided me with an excellent service for my 40th birthday party. He was in communication throughout in the run up, attended early to set up and had everyone up dancing all night. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

What a great DJ! I originally asked for an indie set which wasn’t getting people dancing but with a prior chat on what to do, he managed to adapt the set live and a great night was had by all! Couldn’t recommend enough and will be using him for other events!
The perfect professional DJ.
Jon (MID8) provided the music for our Daughters 18th Birthday. To say the evening went well is an understatement.
Pre event, Jon attended the venue and discussed our requirements. With 100+ party guests and a younger audience we wanted to ensure he fully understood our requirements. This was to have a rave feel and be a birthday party to remember. Boy did he deliver.
This was a party they will not forget in a long time. What a night. Filled the dance floor and was equal to any festival ever attended by any of them. There is not enough space here to describe how good the lighting, sound and seamless flow of music was.

Excellent, Reliable Service
I booked Jon for my mums 80th birthday party, what a great guy, I knew straight away he was the right DJ for our little do as he said his parents were a similar age and he had grown up listening to the same sort of music as my mum!
He was in constant contact with me right from the off, making a play list that was suitable for an 80th! He was great on the night and although not many people danced (it was an 80th after all) he played all the right music and my mum really enjoyed listening to it.
I would definitely recommend Jon for any party or event. Such a lovely guy x can't thank him enough for making mums night so special xx
