About MusicZon
MusicZon helps realise your dream to have the very best event possible. Whether you are hiring a simple DJ service or asking us to setup, decorate and run your complex event, we work with you and give 100% to deliver a first class service.
For example if you hire us to DJ at your event then we will make sure we prepare the right music and mix and play music that fits with what your guests are responding to. We provide fantastic quality sound systems from playing to a handful of people for a private dinner to several thousand at an outside event. We will also provide great party lighting alongside other lighting to fit into your theme and overall party feel.
We pride ourselves that every single event we played at, setup or ran in the second half of 2021 since restrictions were lifted has given us excellent reviews and over fifty per cent of our work has come through referrals and repeat business.
So if you want a simple pub style DJ for the evening or a team to take away the headache and fully manage your wedding day from decorating to music to programme and venue management come and speak with us.
Typical Clients
We do not have a typical client as such as we are as comfortable DJing for a small private garden party as managing and running a large complex wedding or multi day corporate event.
We excel and certainly stand out when you have unusual setups, complex arrangements or anything that is non standard.
We want to help make your event the very best it can be and more than you imagine and this is much easier when we have an open two way dialogue with our customer. This way by the time we get to being at your wedding, corporate event or private party we already know each other and this makes solving any potential last minute glitches and working through the event so much easier.
We pride ourselves on doing things properly, safely and professionally. Therefore we provide licenced music, full indemnity and liability insurance (all to £10 million). We pull out your equipment (along with reserve equipment) and set it up in our studio a few days before your event and we test it, including a full PAT test of all necessary equipment. This includes providing a full inventory of what we will pack and if necessary a risk assessment and method statement.
In short everything is checked from all signal cables, stands, infrastructure along with all electrical items.
We also prefer events where we have time to get ready. Time to make sure we setup before guests arrive so we are less intrusive. Time to make sure things look nice and are safely setup. Time to manage any unforseen issues. Time to get changed and be ready for you and your guests so we can give 100% to your event. This is not always practical or possible and we will work within your constraints, but it does make for a more relaxed and potentially successful event.
We have invested in very high quality sound equipment as well as lighting and other infrastructure so along with our professional approach for preparation, licencing and so on we have to charge a little more than the cheapest DJs.
However we always agree a fixed price with you and will never charge extra on the night, even when things run over or you need to start earlier. Our price is to be there for you for the entire party.
Typically our DJ cost for an evening is £350 to £400.
Full decor, event management and so will of course be more than that.

We had booked Neville for our wedding day as DJ, communication during the booking and up to the wedding day was amazing. From the first contact I had with Neville I knew I'd chosen the right team to help us with our Ruby anniversary celebrations and vow renewal. Always on hand to offer advice and guide us he took on board all our visualisations. He even visited us in person to ensure it was tailored to our requirements and visited the venue beforehand.
He even accommodated me playing guitar and singing to my wife!
Beyond the call of duty, following a hitch out of his control, Neville calmly pulled out all the stops resolving the issue making it a very long day for him which he did without complaint.

An absolute godsend
We used MusicZon for our wedding, Neville was an absolute pleasure to work with, he really knows his stuff, I was planning a DIY wedding and he just knew how to do everything I needed. He provided cabling and power to everywhere on site that we needed, high quality speakers, microphones and lighting. He also had a whole host of other things I hadn’t thought of that really made the day. The amount of work he put in was incredible.
Most impressive; we had a vision of festoon lights that spiked out from a central pole, he hadn’t done it before but spent time working it out and creating this thing for us. It was amazing.
Totally professional, took away all of our stress and went above and beyond. I cannot recommend him and MusicZon enough.
