Wedding Photography is not just how I earn a living, it's who I am, it's my passion and I absolutely love the job! I have spent my entire working life as a professional wedding photographer. My photography career started straight out of school, with 8 years in Photo Journalism, 6 as a senior staff photographer on The Yorkshire Evening Press, at the time one of the largest regional Newspapers in the UK.

Numerous awards for wedding photography along the way, including being one of the Top 10 Wedding Photographers with the Guild of Photographers, I am a qualified member of two of the most respected photographic trade associations, and have a number of professional qualifications and affiliations to boot.

I capture weddings predominantly in a ‘Documentary’ style, natural, spontaneous moments, both creative and 'real' images with a classic, lasting appeal.

Excellent wedding photography requires experience, creativity, flair, anticipation, empathy and an excellent knowledge and understanding of photography and the technical skill with the camera. Above all, a deep passion for the job is needed to really capture the love, laughter, emotion and action.

I strive to remain creative, observing, rather than over-orchestrating, to produce a mixture of classic, 'non-cheesy' moments, fused with some relaxed couples portraits and creative low light 'Wow' shots, magical images you will be proud to display in your home.
