About Capital Nightlife

Capital Nightlife are a friendly, professional mobile disco service covering ANY type of disco event. Recommended by some of the UK's top venues, we also have over 20 years' experience and more than 5000 satisfied customers.

We like to give you as much input into planning your disco as you require - you can devise your own playlist entirely, or leave it in our professional hands.

Events we specialise in include: Weddings, Corporate Events, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Themed Parties, Engagements, Christmas and New Year parties.

We carry modern professional sound and lighting equipment and set up tidily and safely, with a stunning look and perfectly balanced sound.

At Capital Nightlife, we pride ourselves on the positive feedback we receive from delighted customers. A large percentage of our work comes through recommendations, something we take a lot of pride in. No matter what size or style of disco event you book with us, we'll help you plan it to perfection.

Our Story

Music has been a huge part of my life for the majority of it. Singing in bands, musical theatre and of course DJ-ing for 1000's of extremely happy (and lovely) clients over 20 years as a professional DJ. Every client is unique, which is why I offer a bespoke playlist service to gain every advantage of keeping that dance floor packed all night!

I'm James, a professional DJ of over 20 years, when you book with me, you get me! Some operate with large numbers of DJs, but I like you to know exactly what (and who!) you're getting. We'll talk on the phone, and maybe even meet beforehand - and plan as meticulously as you want to make your party the success it deserves to be.

Over 20 years of high-end professional experience, providing Disco entertainment and associated services (Magic Mirror, Dance Floors) for Weddings, Corporate Events, Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, Engagements, Christmas Parties, New Year's Eve Parties, and more.

I've covered all types of events, from Weddings and Corporate events, to Celebrity Parties, Birthdays, and any kind of party where dancing and having fun is required! I've DJ'd for 1000's of newlyweds, company Summer and Christmas parties, even for Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas at the prestigious Sandhurst Academy. I've held residencies for large hotel chains like Autograph Hotels and Crown Hotels, dedicated wedding venues and even at the legendary Carling Academy for their 'Guilty Pleasures' nights.

Amazing DJ !!

We hired DJ James from Capital Nightlife for my 21st birthday party and he completely exceeded any expectations. The music was amazing all night, with a perfect mix which kept everyone dancing from start to finish. All songs I requested were played seamlessly and he kept the energy up throughout the night - I didn’t want the night to end !! Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for such a special night !! Would highly recommend :)

Friendly DJ who brought the vibes

James was responsive, communicative and provided a great service at late notice. He was friendly, accommodating to our playlist, his set up was professional, and the music brought the vibes to my friend's at home birthday party. Would highly recommend.
