Our Story
Coffee Rebel started with a simple idea: great coffee makes events better.
After years working in professional environments where organisation, communication and reliability really mattered, I wanted to build something of my own that brought people together in a more relaxed and enjoyable setting. Coffee felt like the perfect place to start – it’s social, welcoming and always brings people together.
Coffee Rebel is run by me, Clare, and is based in Bristol. The business centres around a bright converted horsebox that allows us to bring speciality coffee directly to events across the South West. I wanted something that looked great at an event, served excellent coffee and was easy for organisers to work with.
What inspires Coffee Rebel is the atmosphere of great events – busy markets, festivals full of energy, community gatherings and celebrations where people come together. Our goal is simple: serve excellent coffee, keep queues moving and make sure working with us is smooth, friendly and stress-free for organisers.

Our Team
Coffee Rebel is a small, hands-on team led by founder Clare Harris. Clare is present at events and oversees the operation to ensure everything runs smoothly. She holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, and the business is registered with Bristol City Council.
The wider team includes Clare’s eldest daughter, CJ Harris, who created Coffee Rebel’s visual identity and works as our lead barista, helping to ensure every cup meets the high standards we aim for.
We’re also supported by a small trusted team: Nick, Steve and Luke, who regularly work events with us.
Although we’re a small team, we care deeply about the experience we create. Serving great coffee is only part of it; we also believe the energy of the people behind the bar shapes the atmosphere of an event. Friendly service, genuine enthusiasm and a welcoming smile are all part of the Coffee Rebel ethos.
