Where my forte lies whilst DJing is reading a crowd, making that change if what I’m playing is not working and blending one genre into another. Weddings notoriously have a wide range of ages. You’ll please most people most of the time, but not all people all the time. Knowing how much mic work you should use also comes with experience. Some crowds love an MC style of night, while others just continuously mix without a word. Every crowd is different, so as a DJ my prerogative is planning and research. I will come fully armed with the best of my knowledge of who my crowd is and what they want, and together we can both enjoy a memorable musical experience. I have worked alongside some of the best DJs in the world, i.e. Calvin Harris, James Hype, Pete Tong & Mousse T to name but a few.
