Along with our guests we were delighted with the amazing food provided for my sons 18th Birthday. Everything was cooked to order with generous portions and tasted delicious. Our guests loved it, we would definitely recommend.

David always responded quickly prior to the event and answered any questions we had. David and his colleague were great with our guests on the day.

Very good quality fish and chips. Several people said "best ever".
Gave him a challenge of producing 170 portions to be served all at once. Had to start an hour before serving time. Slight miscalculation meant the last batches of chips were a bit behind schedule, but it was a great effort.
Very friendly service, would recommend for anyone else's party.

David fed our 70 guests at our recent 50th Birthday Party. Communication throughout the booking was excellent and David arrived at the venue exactly on time. The Fish and Chips were soooo good - nothing but praise from the guests (who thought the idea of F&C at a 50th party was very novel). I would definitely recommend David and the Happy Plaice - the price was very competitive and you will not be disappointed. Thank you David for helping to make our night so good.

David attended my husband's birthday party on Saturday.
He was always in communication with me, text me to confirm he was setting off and arrived promptly.
The food was delicious and many guests commented on how fresh the fish was.

They catered our wedding on Sat 12th Nov at The Yoghurt rooms, Busses farm... An unusual venue but they embraced it... Service was excellent, booked well in advance. Arrival and prep was prompt, communication was great always had a quick response. Professional in person.
My guests were blown away that we even got a fish and chip van, and were even more impressed with the food and service.
Had nothing but glowing feedback all night. Biggest Thanks and highly recommendable. Thanks again for being part of our special day...

Just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to you and the lovely young man you had working with you on the night of our house Party.
From the moment your arrived to the time you left, everything ran very smoothly and as you are so organised the only job we actually did was to tell people you were ready to serve them...this is exactly what you need when you are trying to host your own party!
The food was just fabulous, so many good comments some even saying it was the best Fish & Chip they had ever tasted...and the massive portions! Loved the way you made everything fresh and provided all the box containers, cutlery, sauces and of course all the great little extras like pickled eggs.

We used Dave's Happy Plaice fish & chip van for the evening food at our wedding.

The quality of the food and the service was absolutely top notch. Dave arrived in plenty of time to set up and the van looked great, decorated with bunting and a personalised sign.

We'd tried the fish & chips before booking, so we knew it was excellent taste and quality and everyone really enjoyed their fish & chips. Dave is a great guy and his friendly banter with the guests went down really well.

I'd recommend booking Dave and his van for any event - you will not be disappointed.

From the moment we visited you at your regular spot in Yateley. Trying your delicious fish and chips, we knew you were the man and the van for our son's 18th Birthday party and confirmed our booking. We could not have asked for a better service from yourself on the day. Great food for our event on 23rd July. David was great with organising and communicating.
