We had David and his Fish and Chips at our wedding in July. The service, food and communication was all perfect. Highly recommended!

All our guests were queuing up and were served with friendly smiles and they all loved their fish, chips and all the extras. David and his assistant are very quick, the van is beautifully clean. Excellent value for money. I will be booking him again.

They were very friendly and the food was cooked fresh to order and tasted lovely! For such a good price you got a lot of food per person and everyone commented on how lovely it was. Considering there was around 90 of us the service was quick.
Would highly recommend!

This is a must for a party! Their fish and chips are amazing. Great all round service. Highly recommended.

Along with our guests we were delighted with the amazing food provided for my sons 18th Birthday. Everything was cooked to order with generous portions and tasted delicious. Our guests loved it, we would definitely recommend.

David always responded quickly prior to the event and answered any questions we had. David and his colleague were great with our guests on the day.

Very good quality fish and chips. Several people said "best ever".
Gave him a challenge of producing 170 portions to be served all at once. Had to start an hour before serving time. Slight miscalculation meant the last batches of chips were a bit behind schedule, but it was a great effort.
Very friendly service, would recommend for anyone else's party.

David fed our 70 guests at our recent 50th Birthday Party. Communication throughout the booking was excellent and David arrived at the venue exactly on time. The Fish and Chips were soooo good - nothing but praise from the guests (who thought the idea of F&C at a 50th party was very novel). I would definitely recommend David and the Happy Plaice - the price was very competitive and you will not be disappointed. Thank you David for helping to make our night so good.

David attended my husband's birthday party on Saturday.
He was always in communication with me, text me to confirm he was setting off and arrived promptly.
The food was delicious and many guests commented on how fresh the fish was.

They catered our wedding on Sat 12th Nov at The Yoghurt rooms, Busses farm... An unusual venue but they embraced it... Service was excellent, booked well in advance. Arrival and prep was prompt, communication was great always had a quick response. Professional in person.
My guests were blown away that we even got a fish and chip van, and were even more impressed with the food and service.
Had nothing but glowing feedback all night. Biggest Thanks and highly recommendable. Thanks again for being part of our special day...

From the moment your arrived to the time you left, everything ran very smoothly and as you are so organised the only job we actually did was to tell people you were ready to serve them...this is exactly what you need when you are trying to host your own party!
The food was just fabulous, so many good comments some even saying it was the best Fish & Chip they had ever tasted...and the massive portions! Loved the way you made everything fresh and provided all the box containers, cutlery, sauces and of course all the great little extras like pickled eggs.
