Well what can I say!! I am so pleased I booked David and his amazing services! It took all the hassle off me doing the catering and my guests were full of praise and overwhelmed with how lovely the fish and chips were On top of this David was very happy to supply the Children and some other guests with alternative options. David went above and beyond his requirements and made my birthday an easy, relaxing, hassle free day! I most certainly recommend him and will use him for my future events. The best fish and chips we've ever had in the south of England and highly recommend for any special event! Thank you David ❤️
Fantastic service and great value.
Excellent service, very friendly, supplied everything we needed. Everyone at the party thoroughly enjoyed the fish, chicken and veggie burgers with the very tasty chips and the pickled eggs and gerkins were a winner. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend DB'S. Thank you for making our silver wedding party a great success.

Highlight of our do! Delicious and efficient.
All our guests were queuing up and were served with friendly smiles and they all loved their fish, chips and all the extras. David and his assistant are very quick, the van is beautifully clean. Excellent value for money. I will be booking him again.

They were very friendly and the food was cooked fresh to order and tasted lovely! For such a good price you got a lot of food per person and everyone commented on how lovely it was. Considering there was around 90 of us the service was quick.

Excellent service and quality.
Along with our guests we were delighted with the amazing food provided for my sons 18th Birthday. Everything was cooked to order with generous portions and tasted delicious. Our guests loved it, we would definitely recommend.
David always responded quickly prior to the event and answered any questions we had. David and his colleague were great with our guests on the day.
Good quality
Very good quality fish and chips. Several people said "best ever".
Gave him a challenge of producing 170 portions to be served all at once. Had to start an hour before serving time. Slight miscalculation meant the last batches of chips were a bit behind schedule, but it was a great effort.
Very friendly service, would recommend for anyone else's party.
Absolutely excellent Fish and Chips
David fed our 70 guests at our recent 50th Birthday Party. Communication throughout the booking was excellent and David arrived at the venue exactly on time. The Fish and Chips were soooo good - nothing but praise from the guests (who thought the idea of F&C at a 50th party was very novel). I would definitely recommend David and the Happy Plaice - the price was very competitive and you will not be disappointed. Thank you David for helping to make our night so good.

He was always in communication with me, text me to confirm he was setting off and arrived promptly.
The food was delicious and many guests commented on how fresh the fish was.
