We would like to thank David for catering at our wedding - we couldn't have asked for more! Firstly, his fish & chips - The BEST we have ever tasted & this was the reaction of all our guests! Everyone commented on how tasty they were and the generous portion size! David is friendly, professional and relaxed. He works his socks off - just keeps going! Serving 60 odd wedding guests is not an easy task but David makes it look easy! His assistant Karl is also polite and chats to customers - both great people! Our wedding wouldn't have been the style of wedding we wanted if David and his van wasn't there. I made the right choice with David - he was the most reliable wedding vendor involved at our wedding and I would trust him with my life! Food quality was superb, portions were large and everyone thought it was fantastic. Dave is a great guy and I thoroughly enjoyed talking with him whilst the food was being made to order. Highly recommended.

A great idea for catering any event. The Happy Plaice made catering for my 40th birthday party a breeze. All the details were well organised, the food quality was great and enjoyed by everyone. We were able to host the event at our home and the van was parked just outside the front door, Dave took great care over all the details - there wasn't anything he didn't provide! I can definitely recommend Dave and the Happy Plaice.

Provided all I asked for within budget plus a little more. Good quality food with the fish being exceptional as mentioned by a number of guests and myself.
Good sized portions of food.

Contacted on day to confirm leaving and eta. Accommodated all my requests.
Tradional chip van with pickles and condiments. Very good value for money.

Ps the hot & sweet chillies are exceptional with pulled pork and coleslaw rolls.
