Turned up bang on time 2 very nice and polite people food was excellent best fish and chips for we’ve had for years would highly recommend recommend felt like I’ve known Dave for years

This is a delayed review, apologies David. From start to finish communication was key to give us comfort that David understood our requirements and meet our expectations, this he did and everything went without a hitch. Food and portion size was superb, tasty and a great variety. All our guests who attended to celebrate my sons 21st Birthday kept commenting on the portion sizes, quality of the food and the buzzer system for order collection, all superb. I would not hesitate in recommending DB's for your event and would definitely use them again in the future.

Arrived exactly on time in the immaculate fish and chip van! The food was freshly cooked for each of our guests, and so was piping hot with crispy batter on the fish and NOT soggy chips! We cannot fault the cooking or the service, with all our guests raving about it. Our grandchildren did the collecting and handing out of each meal, which was brilliant! Pickled eggs and onions, gherkins, mushy peas, knives and forks, sauces and serviettes were included in the price too! Thank you so much Dave, it made our evening!

Dave and Christine attended my mums surprise 70(ish) birthday party and provided amazing food and an even better service to us all. The booking process was simple, Dave took the time to understand what we wanted and needed. He communicated the process and it let us feel very confident the day and food would be just as we wanted it. The dah of the event, they arrived on time, set up as promised and delivered hot delicious food on time. They also have an order system and buzzers so you don’t have to wait in line for your food. The main event was great and accompaniments were more than we expected. Portion sizes were huge (but better to be over fed than underfed) and all of our guests left happily surprised. I highly would recommend DB

The fish and chips were delicious. David arrived promptly and delivered everything that was promised. He was a hit with our guests who loved the idea and the taste of the freshly cooked food. We would not hesitate to recommend his service and have him back in the future.

I'm delighted with with DB's. We visited one of their regular weekly plots to try the food, David was so confident that he said not to tell him who we were until after we'd eaten. He was right to be so, the food is great quality. He was a pleasure to deal with by phone and messaging before the event and on the day. We had to change the event due to changing COVID restrictions and he was both responsive and helpful.

Our guests were so excited to see a fish and chip van when they arrived and all thought it was a fantastic idea. People moved from our garden to the driveway to order their food, the buzzer system worked brilliantly to alert them when their food was ready and going between garden and driveway created lots more socialising.

Nothing was to much trouble, the food was fantastic, portion sizes were excellent , freshly cooked to order & worth the wait.
Vegetarian option was good & the compliments did not stop coming all evening. Thank you again & I hope we have the opportunity to use you again.
Ps. The Haloumi is a must

Would absolutely recommend! Great communication from Dave from the outset.. Food was lovely and fresh and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would definitely use the company again.

We held a 21st birthday party and all of our guests loved the food which was cooked to order and so fresh. Quite simply the best fish and chips I’ve had in the South!
