About GDS Disco
Hi, I'm Giles and I've been a DJ for 30 years, I can cater for parties/weddings/events for adults & children large or small, playing anything between the 60s to modern day, also specialising in 90s-00s dance music (house, hardcore & club classics) 80s & 90s theme nights, I learnt my trade as a dance music DJ & played at local parties & clubs throughout the 90s, I used to have a regular slot on local radio station Kane FM and DJ as part of a trio of DJ's called 'shake it' where we have had residencies in Godalming, Guildford & Farnham.
I set up as a mobile DJ in 2018 as I had done a few parties for friends & family which went down really well, I come with a friendly face, professional DJ set up & have a fantastic array of lighting, effects & sound equipment and can tailor your night as you want it, I have a massive catalogue of tunes and am happy using either a playlist provided or reading the crowd & taking requests, if I haven't got a tune, I'll download it there and then. I'm fully insured & all my equipment is professionally PAT tested.
Music is my passion & I put this into every event I play at, I'm very outgoing & friendly & want to make your party special.
Children's party - 2-3 hours
Adult party - up to 4 hours
Adult party - up to 5 hours
Longer parties can easily be catered for and a price discussed.

Giles DJ'ed at my 40th Birthday Party and his disco really made the party! He was very friendly, enthusiastic and really got into the spirit of the party - he even had a fancy dress costume in the theme. The music mix was great - we had ages from under 5 to over 60 - he had something for everyone and played to the audience. At the start of the evening he got the kids dancing to things like Pink and Greatest Showman and as the evening went on he ramped it up with a great mix for all the adults with classic tunes from rock to pop to indie to old school dance. We will definitely be recommending him to our friends, thanks Giles!

We hired Giles for my partner's 40th birthday celebrations and I couldn't recommend more. Communication was easy, great value for money and he did a great job on the night. We asked for a blend of 80s and current pop and he delivered some great tunes. He was sensitive to the mood on arrival making sure that the music wasn't too loud at the beginning so that people could talk and then gradually and without us even noticing, before we knew it the music was pumping out great dance tunes and the dance floor filled. Absolutely fantastic and thank you so much!!
