Great Big Pig

Dan was fantastic from start to finish. Communicative, flexible, exceptionally well priced. An absolutely lovely man who fed delicious food to lots of hungry people with a smile and a laugh (terrible dance moves though!!). Highly recommend him and will be using him whenever possible in future. Thanks again Dan, you were fab!

I would highly recommend the 'Great Big Pig' hog roast & BBQ for a family event (weather permitting - we were lucky that there was only a short heavy shower and then the rain held off for the rest of the afternoon). We opted for the wood burning option rather than gas grill. The guests enjoyed the food (although some people said that some of the meat was cooked a bit too rare for them). The apricot couscous was delicious and very nice Feta cheese was used in the mixed peppers salad. Due to non attendees there was a lot of food left over and as we had paid for all the food we would have expected to have be given all the leftovers from the event but we didn't have enough of our own containers to put it all in which was a big disappointment!!!

Just wanted to say how impressed I was with Dan from the Great Big Pig. The pork was delicious with lots of stuffing, crackling and sauces with lots left over too! Everyone was commenting it was the best hog roast they had ever had! I will definitely be booking dan again and many of our guests asked for his details too. Also great value for money! Thank you Dan!

Great food and stayed longer than required. Lots of food left over which we will be eating for days to come!

Dan provided fantastic service on the night, setting up whilst the party was in full swing. He was very flexible in terms of when he would start serving up as everyone was having a fun time on the night. Food provided was absolutely lovely, especially the crackling and stuffing. He provided a number of different toppings as well as rolls or wraps.
We had a lot left over which Dan put away for us.
No problems or worries whatsoever on the night, Dan provided great service and would definitely recommend him to others.

Daniel was very friendly and professional. He arrived on time. He communicated well throughout the whole process from inquiry to the event. He just got on with serving and looking after the hog - hardly knew he was there. Amazing guy. Everyone has been talking about it - even those guests that couldn't make it knew how good it was. The pork was succulent and very tasty. The stuffing was made especially for us due to food allergies- that was the best stuffing I've ever tasted. The crackling was out of this world. I went for the basic package, next time i'd go for the full package. The whole experience was amazing and stress free-just what you need for a 50th birthday party and 30 guests of all ages. Would definately recommend and use again.

Thanks to Dan we had a great experience at our work Summer Party. Dan was friendly and informative from the off and did not hesitate to accommodate our needs. He worked very independently and tailored to our venue and needs. Despite it raining all day (!) and us ending up inside, Dan made it work and made the food accessible.

I can not thank Dan enough for his help and would not hesitate to recommend him.

We went for the hog roast for 45 people as well as a good selection of sides. Portion sizes were very generous and our guests all went away happy. Would definitely recommend!
