JJS Productions is a Liverpool-based photography and videography business specialising in weddings, events, portraits and special occasions.

My love for photography started from a young age when one of the first presents I remember receiving was a camera. I was constantly taking photographs and making videos of my family, and as I’ve grown older, I’ve realised just how important those photographs become. They capture people, moments and memories that we can keep forever, and that is something I take a huge amount of pride in creating for other people.

My style is natural, relaxed and creative. I love capturing the important photographs you expect, but I also focus on the little candid moments in between – the laughs, reactions, emotions and details that make your day personal to you.

I want my clients to feel comfortable and enjoy having their photographs taken rather than feeling like they are constantly posing for the camera. Whether I'm photographing a wedding, celebration or event, my aim is to tell the story of the day and give you photographs that you will love looking back on for years to come.

My love for photography and videography started when I was really young. One of the first presents I remember getting was a camera, and from that point I was constantly taking photos and making little videos of my family. Looking back now, some of those photos and videos are incredibly special because they hold memories of people and moments that can never be recreated.

That is a huge part of why I do what I do today. I love the idea that I can capture a moment for someone and give them something they can look back on for years to come.

I went on to study Media Production at university, graduating with a First Class degree, and have since worked in professional photography studios, television production, weddings and events.

Alongside photography, I also love using camcorders to create a more nostalgic, documentary-style feel. There is something really special about the look of camcorder footage it feels raw, natural and personal, almost like watching a home video from years ago. I particularly love using this style at weddings because it captures the atmosphere, little interactions and candid moments in a completely different way to traditional wedding video.

My inspiration comes from real people and genuine moments. Whether I am taking photographs or filming on a camcorder, I want the final result to feel personal, emotional and full of memories rather than overly staged.

I have several years of experience working across photography, videography and media production. I graduated with a First Class degree in Media Production, which gave me a strong foundation in photography, filming, editing and visual storytelling.

My professional experience has included working in photography studios, photographing weddings, events, portraits, families and special occasions, as well as gaining experience within television production for both BBC and ITV.

A key milestone for me has been taking my passion for photography and turning it into JJS Productions, where I now work directly with clients to capture important moments in their lives. I have continued to grow my wedding portfolio, develop my own creative style and expand into nostalgic camcorder wedding films alongside traditional photography.

One of my biggest achievements is the range of environments I have worked in, from professional studios and television sets to fast-paced weddings and live events. Each experience has helped me become more confident, adaptable and creative behind the camera.

I provide photography and videography for a wide range of events and clients, with a particular focus on weddings, celebrations and special occasions.

For weddings, I offer natural and relaxed photography alongside nostalgic camcorder-style video, capturing everything from the important moments to the little candid interactions throughout the day.

I also photograph birthdays, engagements, family celebrations, portraits, couples, events and professional headshots. I have experience working with individuals, families, couples and businesses, and I always adapt my approach depending on the client and the type of event.

Whether it is a large wedding or a smaller, more intimate celebration, my aim is to make people feel comfortable and capture genuine moments that they can look back on for years to come.

I am a member of the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP), which reflects my commitment to maintaining professional standards and continuing to develop my skills within the photography industry.

I also hold a BA (Hons) degree in Media Production, where I developed a strong background in photography, videography, editing and visual storytelling.

Alongside my qualifications, I have professional experience working across photography studios, weddings, events and television production, including work with the BBC and ITV. I am always looking to continue learning and developing my skills so I can provide clients with a professional, reliable and creative service.
