Our Story
I started Knots & Nuptials because I saw how quickly wedding planning can become overwhelming, even for the most organised couples. What should feel exciting often turns into pressure, endless decisions and a constant worry about getting things “right”. I knew there had to be a calmer, more supportive way to do it.
My background is in planning and coordination, working closely with suppliers, venues, and couples to bring big ideas to life in a clear, practical way. Over the years, I’ve learned that the best weddings aren’t about trends or perfection, they’re about feeling comfortable, confident and present on the day.
I’m inspired by people. Their stories, their families, their cultures and the little details that make each relationship unique. I love taking a couple’s ideas and turning them into a plan that actually works — one that feels personal, runs smoothly and allows them to enjoy every part of the process.
What drives me is seeing couples relaxed and happy, knowing everything is taken care of. Whether I’m planning a wedding from the very beginning or stepping in to manage the day itself, my goal is always the same: to remove stress, keep things organised, and make sure the day feels true to you.

I’m Nalini, owner and lead planner of Knots & Nuptials. I lead every wedding we take on and remain your main point of contact throughout your planning journey.
Alongside me is a trusted team of experienced freelance planners who support me during the lead-up to your wedding and on the day itself. Each planner I work with runs their own established wedding planning business, and brings the same level of care, professionalism and attention to detail that I do.
I work only with planners I know and trust, people who are calm under pressure, great with guests and suppliers, and completely invested in making sure everything runs smoothly. This means my couples and their guests are always in safe hands, no matter the size or complexity of the day.
By working with a small, reliable team, I’m able to offer personal service while ensuring every wedding is supported by experienced professionals who deliver the very best.
