What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order to provide the most effective line of communication with the customer, we would require several key points of information. The date, time, number of guests, location for the event and list of services they require. We would then be able to provide a full list of package options for them depending on how they wish to service the event for their guests. From this information, we are able to build a completely bespoke and tailored package to ensure their event flourishes.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are several important factors to consider. The online presence of the business, most people who are passionate about what they do will have a social media source for you to view and/or a website. Ensure you can obtain all relevant copies of their documentation; public liability, risk assessments, relevant equipment testing and appropriate licensing to conduct the event. They should feel confident and have suitable product knowledge in the service they're offering. Responses should be clear and concise with complete transparency regarding event details and costs.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Berridge Hospitality Ltd was born after the Director spent 10 years working in the hotel industry. As a food & beverage and event specialist, we spearheaded the operation with this in mind. Aiming to provide a complete and bespoke service by bringing the party to the customers desired location. Horse & Husky, our converted horsebox mobile bar was born throughout the pandemic and is able to be utilised in almost any location. We then brought together all of our trusted suppliers, used previously at venues, so tried and tested, to be able to provide the comprehensive package that comes as Berridge Hospitality. Excellence & Innovation for all.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We love the broad spectrum of events that are available through Add to Event. Our most memorable event was the Birthday party for a client in Essex. The atmosphere was fantastic and what started off as just a bar booking, saw us bringing in our consultant chef and offering a combined BBQ and bar package. The client was over the moon with the event, amazed at the tools in our arsenal. As a result of this, she is now booking us for a corporate Christmas party at their office with another full range of services. We would definitely recommend Add to Event to other suppliers, the opportunity to open more than just the door for the booking is incredible. An excellent way to boost your online presence and reviews.
