The Sylva Waltz is a Citroen HY Van born on French soil in 1975. She led a full and varied life before ending her travels in Holland where we picked her out of the crowd to join our family. She arrived in July 2019 and work began on restoring her to her former glory.
She is now lovingly restored and offering a full barista coffee bar with homebaked cakes, taking into account of V and Vg friends AND for when a cup of coffee is no longer required, a fully loaded bar offering our own brands of gin plus your favourites, beers, ciders, bubbles and spirits. Being big dog lovers ourselves we also have a menu for our 4 legged friends including "doggie icecreme".
The Sylva Waltz is fully self-sufficient so we can offer our services to you at any time, any place, anywhere. Why not hire us for that special birthday occasion, wedding or simply let us be a good excuse for a party. We can tailor-make a package especially for you for your chosen event.

Our Story
Having spent over 30 years in the hospitality business , 7 years ago i decided it was time to full fill a long standing dream of mine of running my very own coffee shop. However, as there are too many of these already on the high street i took a different path and bought a classic vintage vehicle, a Citreon H van and restored it into a drivable coffee and cake shop and fully licensed bar. My inspiration came from my later parents, Sylvia and Walter who loved to dance the Waltz.
My late mother had dreamed of retiring and opening her own little cake shop as she was a fabulous baker however, her health took a turn and she was not able to full fill her dream. Thats where i took hold of this and turned both our dreams into a reality.
I have called my truck "The Sylva Waltz" as a homage to my late parents and today she is a very successful business venture.

Our Team
My name is Caroline and i am the owner/founder of MLDV. I have 2 staff members that work alongside me and help make MLDV what it is today.
Experience
My career in hospitality expands over 30 years by managing restaurants, pubs and cafes for other people.
7 years ago i decided it was time to fullfill my dream of being a business owner myself and created My Little Drinks Van pouring my knowledge and experience of the trade in one dmall little van with a big ego which is now, a very successful small business.
