Our Story
I do event medical because I genuinely have a passion for healthcare and helping people. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be involved in providing care and supporting others in difficult situations.
I first started in the industry at just 13 years old when I joined St John Ambulance as a cadet first aider. Over the years, I worked my way up through the ranks, gaining experience across a wide range of events and medical environments. Those experiences helped shape both my skills and my understanding of what good patient care should look like.
As I progressed through the industry, I also saw the other side of event medical — companies providing substandard care, cutting corners, and not treating their staff properly. Experiencing that firsthand made me realise there was a real need for a company that genuinely prioritised both patient care and the well-being of its staff.
That’s what inspired me to take the leap and start Quantum two years ago.
Quantum was built on the belief that event medical services should be professional, compassionate, reliable, and supportive — not only for the public we care for, but also for the staff delivering that care. I wanted to create a team and environment that people could be proud to be part of.
What inspires me most is knowing that the work we do can make a real difference to someone on what may be the worst day of their life. Whether it’s providing reassurance, emergency treatment, or simply being there when someone needs help, that responsibility is something I’ve always taken seriously and something I remain incredibly passionate about today.

Our Team
Behind Quantum is a team of passionate and experienced professionals who are dedicated to delivering high-quality event medical services, exceptional patient care, and safe, effective operations.
At the heart of the organisation is Daniel, our Managing Director, who has a strong background in both event medical services and operational management. Daniel first started in healthcare at just 13 years old as a cadet first aider with St John Ambulance, later working his way through the ranks and gaining extensive experience across the industry. After witnessing poor standards of care and staff treatment within some providers, Daniel founded Quantum with the vision of creating a professional, supportive, and patient-focused medical company built on high standards, compassion, and integrity.
Ash serves as our Risk and Safeguarding Manager and plays a key role in developing and implementing our safeguarding policies and operational strategies. Ash ensures that the highest standards of safety, compliance, and best practice are maintained across the organisation.
Joining us from the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust and with SORT training, Ash brings valuable frontline experience in risk assessment, incident response, and operational resilience, making him the ideal person to lead our risk management and safeguarding approach.
Megan is our Operations & CQC Manager and brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and extensive experience in pre-hospital emergency care. Coming from a frontline background with Yorkshire Ambulance Service, Megan is instrumental in ensuring our services remain safe, effective, and fully compliant with Care Quality Commission standards.
Passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, Megan provides clear leadership to operational teams, supports continuous improvement, and maintains robust systems and processes across the organisation. Her expertise and commitment play a vital role in upholding the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and excellence in everything we do.
Together, our leadership team combines frontline experience, operational expertise, and a genuine passion for healthcare to ensure Quantum delivers trusted, professional, and compassionate medical services at every event we support.
