Steve gave us a great night with excellent communication,would recommend him to anyone,fun was had by all.

Steve was brilliant. Before the event he told us that his aim was to pick up on the mood of an event and play music to encourage people to dance. He was a complete success. Two of our guests, Elizabeth 7 (almost the youngest) and Nigel 70 (the oldest?) danced to every track. Elizabeth described it as the best night of her life - and it ranked very near the top for me. Steve was amazing for our daughter and son- in - laws wedding evening entertainment. He was prompt with his replies before hand,turned up in plenty of time and got everyone up onto the dance floor with great music - he really listened to what sort of music we wanted playing- Steve made the atmosphere amazing. His price was very,very reasonable. Would definitely recommend and would definitely use Steve again. Thanks Steve - we could not have asked for more.

Steve was a pleasure to work with in making sure my husband had the best surprise party. He met with me beforehand to make sure he knew what music I wanted to be played which I felt was fantastic service. Everyone had such a good time, would 100% recommend and use again. Thank you Steve!

Steve did the disco for my 65th Birthday. He turned up on time and set up his equipment without interfering or inconveniencing the other contractors or organisers. Steve was thorough in researching the demographics of the guests. He ensured there was a good balance of background music throughout the sit down meal and then an excellent and enjoyable mix of music which kept guests on the dance floor throughout the afternoon and evening. Steve was very approachable and accommodating to requests from all quarters. We would thoroughly recommend Retro DJ services for any social gathering.

DJ retro was great, we had a fantastic night thanks to him. He had a huge selection of songs and played whatever I wanted. I would definitely recommend him to others. My only criticism is that I booked him until 1am but he finished at midnight to pack down. This wasn’t communicated with me so if I had known then I would have booked another hour so we had music until the end.

We found Steve through Add to Event and after reading his testimonials we reached out to him straight away to DJ at our wedding reception. He was quick to respond throughout and no request was too much trouble. We both want to thank you for providing such a fabulous atmosphere and keeping the dance floor full all night! I’ve never known a wedding with so many people dancing for so long. There were so many guests who came up to us and said how amazing the music was and we totally agree! Steve was reactive to the crowd and kept them dancing all night! The whole process was flawless from start to finish.
