Retro DJ

I hired Steve as the DJ for the annual military wives christmas function. Steve was amazing and very accommodating. He made sure he played songs he knew the guests would enjoy and asked us what genre and artists we would like. You can't put a price on memories but Steve's prices couldn't be beat! Would definitely recommend retro DJ and would definitely use him again if the opportunity arose! He certainly made our night very special!

Steve was great at hosting my Mum’s 50th birthday party. He arrived in plenty of time to set up and played the songs that the crowd wanted to hear. The communication between him was thorough and he was always able to answer any questions that I had. Would highly recommend Steve to host a party.

Steve did a fantastic job DJing our wedding reception - he arrived on time and setup within the time he had, coordinated the evening activities (including cutting of the cake and Mr/Mrs shoe game) and played a great mix of music according to our and our guests preferences. We highly recommend Steve at Retro DJ.

Good comms with Steve, some requested tunes played a little earlier than expected - birthday boy still mingling and didn’t hit the dance floor till later to enjoy them - but good night overall with sore feet the next day.

Retro DJ had to entertain 60 guests at a Golden Wedding celebration who ranged in age from 20 to 88 years old.The golden couple married in 1969-the end of the 60s. Retro DJ came up with a brilliant playlist that seems to have pleased everyone. It was a wonderful evening thanks to Steve who did everything he promised to do when we booked him back in February

Retro DJ were fantastic for my wedding. I was worried about hiring a DJ as in the past I have found them far too cheesy but I need not have worried. We had a meeting before the event to go over music and style for the night and I expressed my desire to avoid too much cheese and talking on the mic. Retro DJ performed perfectly and kept to my brief. The playlist that night could have come directly from my computer. Highly recommended

As promised Retro DJ arrived early to set up. He pointed out quite rightly that the dance floor was mis-placed by the venue and we got it moved.

As I was one of the hosts of the event and dealing with 60 odd guests during the event I wasn't all the time focussed on the disco but what I can say is that the music choice seemed very good and well chosen. Retro DJ was happy to take requests and I don't remember any duff tracks being played over about 5 hours. He has a lot of experience.
