My partner and I started this business from scratch with a shared love for good rum, great company, and creating memorable experiences. After months of planning and hard work, we transformed an old horse box into our dream mobile bar, lovingly named Dixie. Every detail has been handpicked by us, from the design of the box to the carefully curated drinks menu, making Dixie not just a bar, but a true reflection of our passion and personality.
We specialise in rum, offering a range of choices from smooth golden blends to spiced and flavoured favourites, alongside classic cocktails and refreshing mixers. Whether it’s a wedding, festival, private party, or community event, Dixie brings something unique to the occasion — a stylish centrepiece with a friendly, personal service behind the bar. We also make sure there’s something for everyone, with soft drinks and mocktails available too. For us, it’s all about creating a welcoming atmosphere where people can relax, celebrate, and enjoy a drink together.
