About Securatex Ltd
Securtex Ltd is a UK-wide security services provider delivering professional, risk-led protection for people, property and events. We supply SIA-licensed security personnel for manned guarding, event security, and close protection, alongside risk management consultancy to help clients prevent incidents, stay compliant, and operate with confidence.
We work by first understanding your environment—site type, operating hours, footfall, stakeholders, and specific risks—then building a proportionate security solution that is practical and effective. For guarding, this means clear post instructions, access control, patrol regimes, incident logging, and strong supervisor oversight to maintain standards. For events, we focus on crowd management, searches and entry control where required, front-of-house security presence, safeguarding awareness, and structured incident response so issues are dealt with quickly and professionally without disrupting the customer experience.
Clients choose Securtex because we are reliable, accountable, and quality-driven. We place the right people on the right tasks through robust recruitment and vetting, structured briefings and handovers, and clear escalation pathways supported by accurate reporting. We are fully insured with £5m Public Liability and £10m Employers’ Liability, and we tailor every deployment—whether you need a single close protection operative, a regular manned guarding contract, or end-to-end event security support from planning through delivery—anywhere in the UK.

Our Story
Got into security because I’ve always been drawn to work where calm, disciplined decision-making genuinely protects people and keeps organisations running when things go wrong. Early in my career—building on the leadership and operational planning foundations from my time as a British Army Corporal—I saw first-hand that “security” only works when it is practical, proportionate, and accountable, not just visible. That principle still drives everything I do.
Over the last 20+ years, I’ve worked across the UK, the Middle East, and complex/high-risk environments, delivering security leadership in corporate, critical infrastructure, defence-adjacent programmes, and other regulated environments. My background includes leading and advising on multi-site security operations, conducting security risk assessments and vulnerability surveys, building risk registers, and translating real-world threats into auditable controls—access control, incident response, asset protection, and resilience measures that stand up to scrutiny and actually reduce risk.
What inspires me to do what I do is the impact of doing security properly: preventing incidents, reducing harm, protecting reputations, and allowing clients to operate with confidence. I’m motivated by delivering a professional service where clients know they’re covered—because the team is well-led, well-briefed, and operating to clear standards. I bring that same approach to Securtex Ltd: UK-wide, risk-led security delivery across manned guarding, event security, close protection, and risk management consultancy, built on experience in high-accountability environments and a commitment to measurable, consistent quality.
Our Team

Securtex Ltd is led by James Adams, a security professional with 20+ years’ operational and management experience across the UK and international environments. I built Securtex to provide a higher standard of security service—one that is risk-led, accountable, and delivered by people who are professional, presentable, and properly prepared for the reality of the role, not just the badge on the arm.
Behind the business is a network of carefully selected security personnel who share the same standards: calm under pressure, customer-focused, and capable of operating in both corporate and public-facing environments. We recruit for attitude and professionalism first, then verify competence through robust screening, clear role expectations, and structured onboarding.
What makes our team different is the focus on continuous development. We don’t treat training as a one-off tick-box. Our staff are briefed and refreshed regularly to reduce skill fade, improve consistency, and keep pace with changes in law, best practice and operational techniques. That includes practical refreshers aligned to the type of work being delivered—whether that’s conflict management and incident response for events, access control and patrol discipline for guarding, or discretion and protective practice for close protection.
We also place heavy emphasis on compliance and standards: clear assignment instructions, documented shift handovers, accurate incident reporting, and effective supervision—so clients get a professional service they can trust and evidence. Put simply: Securtex is built around quality people, high standards, and a culture of continuous improvement—because security only works when the team is trained, briefed, and led properly.
Experience
I bring 20+ years’ security and risk management experience across the UK and international operations, including critical infrastructure, regulated environments, defence-adjacent programmes and high-risk locations. My background spans both hands-on operational delivery and senior advisory work—translating real-world threats into proportionate, auditable security controls that work in practice and stand up to scrutiny.
Key milestones and achievements include progressing into senior security leadership roles and holding country-level responsibility for security operations in the Middle East within hostile and complex environments. In those roles, I led large, multi-site teams (including specialist units and significant headcount), delivered crisis management and evacuation planning, and integrated security operations with medical and emergency response capabilities.
Across corporate and site security programmes (including assignments linked to Honeywell, Thales and defence-linked programmes), I have delivered security risk assessments, vulnerability surveys and risk registers, implemented access control, incident reporting and asset protection frameworks, and managed third-party guarding providers using measurable standards and KPIs.
A core differentiator in my career has been building security that aligns with recognised management-system thinking—designing and implementing security management systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 18788, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, and preparing organisations for external audits, assurance reviews and regulatory scrutiny. My foundations were formed in the British Army (Corporal), where I developed leadership, discipline and operational planning skills that continue to shape how I run security teams and deliver resilient outcomes for clients.

Typical Clients
Securtex Ltd works UK-wide with a broad range of clients who need dependable, professional security delivered with a risk-led mindset. Our typical clients include event organisers, venues, production companies, hospitality operators, corporate clients, SMEs, property managers, and private individuals requiring anything from a single close protection operative through to a fully managed event or guarding solution.
On the events side, we regularly support live music and entertainment, festivals and community/charity events, corporate functions and hospitality, private parties, sporting events, and other licensed or high-footfall environments. Clients typically come to us when they need a confident front-of-house presence, effective access control, proportionate searching where required, crowd management, safeguarding awareness, and an incident response capability that keeps the event safe while protecting the customer experience and the organiser’s reputation. Where events involve VIPs or higher-profile attendance, we provide discreet close protection and enhanced security coordination to maintain privacy, safety and smooth movement without creating disruption.
For manned guarding, our clients commonly include offices and commercial premises, retail, construction and development sites, industrial environments, vacant property, and locations where reassurance, access management and visible deterrence are required. These deployments often focus on controlling entry, patrol regimes, preventing theft and damage, monitoring contractor activity, and maintaining clear reporting and escalation so issues are dealt with quickly and transparently.
Across both events and sites, we are chosen by clients who want security done properly: planned, briefed, supervised and documented. We tailor every service to the environment and risk profile, combining practical on-the-ground delivery with risk management support—including security risk assessments and operational planning—so clients can demonstrate due diligence and achieve safe, compliant outcomes.
