Our Story

With 26 years of experience in the hospitality and events industry, including owning and managing The Hi Ho Club, I bring a wealth of knowledge, passion, and a commitment to excellence. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with some of the region’s best mixologists, who are now part of our talented team at Shaken & Co. Together, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional mobile bar experiences that are tailored to your unique event.

Our mission is simple: to provide a professional, personalised, and unforgettable drinks experience for every occasion. Whether it's a wedding, private party, or corporate event, we specialise in crafting expertly mixed cocktails, offering premium service, and creating an atmosphere that your guests will remember long after the event is over.

Her career has taken her beyond the traditional realms of hospitality, managing high-profile events and looking after major music artists such as Nile Rodgers & Chic, Rag'n'Bone Man, Bastille, Kaiser Chiefs, The Wailers, and many more. This experience has allowed her to understand the importance of creating both seamless service and memorable moments for every guest.

Charlie now brings her expertise and energy to her own passion project, The Hi Ho Club – a secret speakeasy tucked away in the heart of York. Her vision is clear: to build an empire, inspire her team to always be their best, and create opportunities for others that she herself once wished for.
