Our Story

The kitchen found me before I found it. Growing up as the only girl, I was always at my grandmother’s side — she was a caterer, and that’s where my love for food was born. Nigerian flavours, cooked with love, feeding people well. That never left me.

I spent years in corporate as an economist. Good on paper. But cooking was always the passion.

So I bet on myself. Trained at Le Cordon Bleu, graduated with Distinction, and came back to my roots — this time with the skills to match the fire.

Our Team

Smoke & Spice is led by Tosin Mohammed, founder and head chef. Le Cordon Bleu trained (Distinction), Food Safety & Hygiene Level 3 certified, and with a background spanning professional kitchens, restaurant consultation, and event catering — Tosin brings precision, creativity, and serious heat to every service.

Experience

Over five years of professional culinary experience across private dining, restaurant consultation, and street food events. Le Cordon Bleu qualification with Distinction. Licensed street trader in Camden and Lewisham. Operated across London markets, corporate pop-ups, and private events — consistently delivering high-volume service without compromising on quality or flavour.
