Social Eclipse is a creative consultancy founded by Thomas Albrighton, combining over a decade of experience in hospitality, events, branding and content creation. We specialise in photography, videography and creative support for weddings, live events, hospitality venues, festivals, corporate events and independent businesses.

Our approach is simple: create authentic, high-quality content that reflects the atmosphere, personality and experience behind your brand or event. Whether we're documenting a wedding, capturing a live music event, producing promotional content for a venue or supporting a business with visual branding, our focus is always on storytelling, consistency and professionalism.

Unlike many content creators, we bring real industry experience from managing venues, operating events and building brands from the inside. This allows us to understand not only how content should look, but what it needs to achieve.

Before starting the business, I spent over a decade working in hospitality, live events and venue management, helping operate bars, restaurants, music venues and large-scale events. Throughout that time, I developed a passion for branding, customer experience and the role creativity plays in shaping how people connect with a business or event.

In 2025, the venue I was managing sadly closed its doors, leaving me at a crossroads. I could have followed the traditional route and searched for another management role, but instead I decided to build something of my own around what I genuinely love doing: being creative.

Photography, videography, graphic design and storytelling had always been a huge part of my life. I realised that many businesses and event organisers were facing the same challenge — they were creating incredible experiences, products and events, but didn't always have the time or resources to showcase them effectively.

That's where Social Eclipse was born.

Today, I work with businesses, event organisers, venues and couples to create authentic visual content that captures atmosphere, personality and experience. Whether it's a wedding, live event, festival, hospitality venue or brand activation, my goal is always the same: to tell the story behind what makes it special.

What inspires me most is helping people showcase something they've worked hard to build. Great content isn't just about taking photos or filming videos; it's about creating a connection between people and the experiences, brands and events they care about.

I bring over 10 years of experience across hospitality, live events, branding and venue management, giving me a unique understanding of both the creative and operational sides of business.

My career has seen me manage bars, restaurants, live music venues and large-scale events, including venues with capacities of over 2,000 guests. Throughout this time, I developed expertise in brand development, event promotion, customer experience, content creation and commercial operations.

Alongside my industry experience, I hold a degree in Music Management and Branding, which provided the foundation for my understanding of marketing, audience engagement and brand identity.

In 2025, I founded Social Eclipse to combine my passion for photography, videography, design and storytelling with my extensive industry knowledge. Since then, I have worked with hospitality brands, wedding venues, independent businesses, festivals, live events and corporate clients, helping them strengthen their visual identity through creative content and branding support.

What sets Social Eclipse apart is not just creative ability, but an understanding of how businesses and events operate behind the scenes. This allows me to create content with purpose, helping clients attract customers, strengthen their brand and communicate more effectively with their audience.
