Tyson Comedy

I’m a professional stand-up comedian and event entertainer specialising in interactive, personalised comedy.

I offer a range of entertainment including stand-up and crowd work, personalised comedy roasts, comedy MC and event hosting, surprise prank appearances such as my “Fake Friend” party guest infiltrator, and a visual comedy show featuring audience participation, plate spinning, a body-through-tennis-racket stunt and a straitjacket escape.

My style is spontaneous, high-energy and audience-focused. Rather than simply performing the same routine at every event, I like to involve the guests and tailor the performance to the occasion.

I’m available for birthdays, stag and hen parties, weddings, corporate events, festivals and private celebrations, with performances adapted to suit the audience, venue and atmosphere.

If you’re looking for something funny, interactive and a little different from the usual event entertainment, get in touch and tell me what you’re planning.

I’m a Canadian comedian and performer based in the UK, and I’ve always been drawn to comedy that feels spontaneous, interactive and different every time.

I started out performing stand-up and quickly found that some of my favourite moments happened when I went off-script — talking to the audience, improvising around unexpected situations and turning real interactions into comedy. That naturally led me into crowd work, hosting, street performance and more unusual private-event jobs.

That unpredictability — and seeing people genuinely surprised and laughing together — is what keeps me doing it.

I have several years of experience performing live comedy and entertainment, with work spanning stand-up, crowd work, event hosting, street performance and interactive private events.

I've performed at many of the biggest comedy clubs across eight countries. I also regularly host live events, giving me extensive experience working with different audiences and adapting quickly to the room.

Alongside stand-up, I perform an interactive street show combining comedy, audience participation, plate spinning, a body-through-tennis-racket stunt and a straitjacket escape.

My typical clients are people planning events where they want entertainment that feels personal, interactive and a little different from the usual options.

Some clients want a stand-up comedian or host, while others are looking for something more unusual, such as a personalised roast, surprise prank appearance or visual comedy performance.

I’m especially suited to groups who want their guests involved in the entertainment rather than simply watching from a distance. My performances can be adapted to suit the audience, venue and tone of the event.

I’m an Equity member and continue to work professionally across comedy, acting and live entertainment.
