About The Burgess Hog Roast Company
All your meat is specially selected for your event by our Master Butcher John Burgess. He ensure the hog is in peak condition.
Our quality hog roasts take between 5 and 15 hours depending on size. The bulk of the cooking is done at our site before departure. Once pre-cooking is complete the roaster and hog are wrapped in a thermal cover ready for transportation.
We aim to arrive at your location 3 hours before your specified serving time. This allows plenty of time to finish cooking your hog.
Whilst your hog is roasting we prepare the accompaniments. Bread rolls, salad and apple sauce or coleslaw are the norm but if you have other preferences we’re happy to discuss them. At your chosen time your delicious roasted hog will be served by our uniformed staff with the enticing smell of crackling in the air!
Whilst your guests enjoy their delicious hog roast we clear down the cooking and serving area. Any excess food will remain available to your guests. We will dispose of our own waste.
