The Travelling Chef

A great service from start to finish. Jo worked with me to identify a menu that would work for us in advance, giving me confidence that the meal would be one that everyone could enjoy. Communication was great throughout, Jo and Hannah turning up exactly when they said they would, preparing and serving the food at the times we'd agreed - it couldn't have worked more smoothly. They were friendly and professional, lovely to have around but equally making sure we were left alone to enjoy our celebrations as a family.

Jo was fantastic from answering queries before booking, right through to serving the most delicious food on the day. We were a group of 35 people staying in a holiday home. Jo arrived mid afternoon and just got on with prepping and cooking. He then served us all a delicious meal. I could recommend him enough!

Jo and his team were wonderful. From initial communication right through to the wedding party itself, Jo was a pleasure to work with. The food was absolutely delicious! All vegetarian and meat dishes were cooked to perfection, and there was a great mix of different starters, mains and sides. My particular favourite was the beef short rib! Jo was more than happy to cater for a variety of allergies and intolerances, and the selection of dishes suited all tastes. He provided all crockery and cutlery, and everything was cleared up quickly after lunch had finished. Service was very efficient and his team were really friendly. All in all it was a brilliant lunch, and my family and I would highly recommend Jo and his team!

Everything was confirmed. We spoke on the Tuesday of that week. They cancelled on the day of the event (Saturday). They didn’t give us the courtesy of a phone call or offer to help with a plan B. Just an email telling us they wouldn’t come.
