Edesia Catering provides a variety of cuisines for a wide range of clients and all different kinds of functions, from large corporate events right through to small intimate weddings. What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Realistically the more information about what guest is having is what keeps the price down for all our clients, a good estimate of the number of guests and how many of them are children.
With all this, we are able to put together a very accurate and competitive quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure to find out where all their foods are coming from, many caterers use imported food to keep the price down. Ask about the experience of the waiting staff, many people hire in just for their event and many of which don't have any or very little experience.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

With myself and business partner, we have always been very passionate about food and trying new things, this had been since a school-age and has now grown into become our very reliable and successful catering company "Edesia"

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have had many bookings through Add to Event and apart from word of mouth this is now our main source of booking throughout the year.
We have catered for a wedding as small as 70 to events that have been attended by the thousands and must say that all have been very smoothly communicated through Add to Event.
