About GDS Disco
Hi, I'm Giles and I've been a DJ for 30 years, I can cater for parties/weddings/events for adults & children large or small, playing anything between the 60s to modern day, also specialising in 90s-00s dance music (house, hardcore & club classics) 80s & 90s theme nights, I learnt my trade as a dance music DJ & played at local parties & clubs throughout the 90s, I used to have a regular slot on local radio station Kane FM and DJ as part of a trio of DJ's called 'shake it' where we have had residencies in Godalming, Guildford & Farnham.
I set up as a mobile DJ in 2018 as I had done a few parties for friends & family which went down really well, I come with a friendly face, professional DJ set up & have a fantastic array of lighting, effects & sound equipment and can tailor your night as you want it, I have a massive catalogue of tunes and am happy using either a playlist provided or reading the crowd & taking requests, if I haven't got a tune, I'll download it there and then. I'm fully insured & all my equipment is professionally PAT tested.
Music is my passion & I put this into every event I play at, I'm very outgoing & friendly & want to make your party special.
Children's party - 2-3 hours
Adult party - up to 4 hours
Adult party - up to 5 hours
Longer parties can easily be catered for and a price discussed.

Amazing DJ!
Giles DJ’ed at my 30th birthday party and did a fantastic job! He was a great listener and communicator when I wanted to make some announcements during the evening. He played a great range of songs he knew my guests would like, as well as take on requests. He also had fantastic strobe lights. I highly recommend him for a great party!

Brilliant. Played all the right music for a teen party. Was good fun. Turned up in plenty of time and packed away very speedily. Kids loved it. Will definitely book again.

Giles communicated from day 1. He was so efficient. Was happy to take play list ideas and happy to take requests. He was such a delight to have hosting the music to our party. Super friendly and great fun! Would recommend him a 100 times over!

Disco was so very good
Giles from GDS disco was so very good turned up before time to set up disco. Played all night, also played all of the music I requested, let me make speeches and was very well dressed and smart for the night. Was very polite and caring, would recommend him to anyone who wanted a disco. Cannot fault him at all, did every thing I asked and let me make lots of speeches, also got everyone singing happy birthday to me and was so very friendly. Highly recommend this man to anyone who wants a good disco for a night

For our 90s themed party, Giles created an amazing playlist and was very accommodating when guests requested songs. He was very good at communicating before the party and during. He made sure to ask every little detail.

Fantastic evening, fantastic dj
We hired Giles and GDS disco for a very belated engagement party, he was awesome. Giles communicated regularly regarding setup times and any playlist requests and nothing was too much trouble. Even taking and downloading requests during the night for songs he didn't have. We couldn't recommend him enough, infact we've also booked GDS for our wedding reception.
