Brilliant afternoon in spite of the weather!
Chris, our coach for the afternoon was prompt, professional and courteous from the moment he arrived. We selected an appropriate area in the grounds for him to set up and in less than 30 mins, he was ready. As there were 25 of us, he divided us into two groups (one group per hour). We had a comprehensive safety briefing after which we had one - on - one coaching followed by practise and then scoring rounds.
Chris made sure that safety protocols were followed throughout with gentle reminders and even when the weather deteriorated, remained cheerful. He even set up a target and a bow for the youngest member of our group, a five year old.
I have to say that for the rest of the afternoon, all the talk was about the various achievements of the group. It was a fun-filled afternoon, ably led by Chris whose enthusiasm for the sport was always evident. I would have no hesitation about recommending this activity as a viable and reasonably priced alternative to clay pigeon shooting.
