Booked them for a company get together and it was perfect. The selection of food, quality and great service was just what I'd hoped for and great feedback was had from all who attended.

Sorry I didn’t catch up with you before you left the party on Saturday.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your brilliant catering and excellent service. You listened to our requirements pre event (picking up some we had missed!), found solutions to our questions and issues and looked after us all on the day thus enabling Keith and me to relax and enjoy time with friends.

We have had many commendations for the hog roast from guests who were much impressed with the food and the service.

High on the Hog stepped at the very last minute because of another hog roast company disappearing off the face of the earth with our money! They acted quickly, reassured and kept in contact with us and the venue. The food was out if this world and we had so many positive comments from our guests and the wedding venue. Can't wait to eat their food again. I strongly recommend these professionals.

‘High on the Hog’ were booked to cater for a party of 40 guests, we opted for a barbecue. Communication received before the event confirming timings, numbers etc. All equipment brought with them including bamboo plates, cutlery and condiments. Nothing required of me at all!
At £20 a head I was hoping for great quality food and was definitely not disappointed. The food was fantastic and my sometimes difficult to please family all agreed. We enjoyed a selection of fresh burgers, hot dogs, chicken, chips, halloumi, salad and potato salad. All was delicious with produce sourced locally.
The gentlemen were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely book again, as would several guests! Thank you ‘High on the Hog’

Colin and his team were fantastic! The food was delicious and the left overs kept us going for days.

A huge thankyou to Colin & Ned for the fantastic food at our wedding last week! Our Guests have still not stopped messaging me about the delicious canapés on the day and we’re all keen to have details passed on. The meat was cooked to perfection. I loved that High On The Hog really listened to what we wanted and the waitresses even knew to target the bride with prawns - top marks!! ;-) we had several vegans and they were all extremely positive with the nut roast - even the non vegans were asking for a taste!

We hired Colin and his team to cater our wedding and it we couldn't have chosen a better service! Throughout, Colin was friendly, helpful and quick to respond with answers and advise. He was completely flexible, and helped us reconfigure our plans to be safe, after every change of the guidelines. He and his colleague even came to the venue, to talk us through the day, and to give us samples of the food, and a bottle of champagne.

On the day, Colin and his team were efficient, friendly and inconspicuous, providing smooth and competent service. The food was excellent and very generous and the clean up was quick and smooth.

From the moment I met him, we had complete confidence in Colin and would recommend him to anyone for any event.

We had the guys cater a bbq for 30 people on a glamping site. They beat us there to set up, cooked a great bbq, plenty of food to feed lots of big eaters, and they left us a pile of leftovers they’d cooked too.

They made it really easy for us and the food was great, and all local produce.
