What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For your event to be a great success, narrow down exactly what you want what makes you smile. We need to know the kitchen facilities available, and which other companies we will be collaborating with. Let us know any food intolerances and the age demographic. The more information we have at hand, the smoother the process will be and your event will be a huge hit.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
To choose a great caterer, ask for sample menus and if they offer a taster. The best people you work with listen to you, and it's your event after all. Your input is very important, and they will guide you without deciding for you. Make sure your caterer is on the same page as you.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
My company was born out of my grandson asking for delicious fresh home cooked food. He spent his first 10 years living in Andalusia, and became a total foodie. I had owned a Lebanese restaurant in WA and so loved cooking and making people smile. Everyone should be able to enjoy tasty fresh food, and so my business was born in Kent in 2010. We provided our dishes at farmers markets, weddings, parties and corporate events in Kent and London.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We are still very young in the North East, but have hit the ground running attending food festivals which have been a huge success and very enjoyable. Wedding bookings are coming in thick and fast and I love all of my clients. Add to Event is the best platform for me.
