What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Anyone looking for entertainment for an event should always listen to a demo or showreel. There are many great bands out there but you need a great band who is right for your event. Is the music suitable for all ages?
Look at testimonials from previous bookings. Ask if your special song request can be accommodated? The more information you have the better. You can't beat a proper conversation so arrange to speak to the band about your event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

My passion for music started at an early age and I began to learn the Organ, Keyboard, Piano and study Music Theory. In my teens, my first job in full-time employment was as a musician on a cruise ship in the resident band and I was hooked. For me, the ability to make someone smile, sing and dance with music was truly magic and it is music which helps us punctuate our lives. From a childhood chorus of "Happy Birthday" to your first dance as part of the happy couple: music and song are literally the soundtracks to our lives. To fill a dancefloor with happy feet at any event makes my job one of the best in the world.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Having just started working through Add to Event in 2019, we have had many successes. This platform allowed us to reach a larger audience of potential clients and make some great contacts and friends within our industry. The ability to get reviews is something I find extremely valuable and I look forward to growing my business as Add to Event grows too!
