What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide an accurate and competitive quote we would need, the event date, the estimated guest numbers, the type of food required, the venue being used, for example, an outdoor marquee, an equipment list of what is provided and what will be needed, the type of event and food they wish to have served is also ideal.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, ask the caterer about the products that they are offering, ask the caterer why they believe their product is unique and if the caterer has any current contracts or regular line of business you can use to reference the product which they are selling with, good caterers will always have regular, repeat clientele that will be able to substantiate how good the food is.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Nourish catering was born out of pure love and desire for food! I have spent a decade learning my way up the catering and food industry, through the years I have found a concerning lack of fresh, home-made, quality food for a competitive price.
This is where I decided to change the catering landscape and offer just that!
We at Nourish thoroughly enjoy serving the people of Norwich at events and conference meetings all across the city.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We are relatively new to Add to Event, however we have had a few memorable experiences through an Add to Event booking, my personal favourites so far have been a 21st birthday party for 100 people where we had to create a selection of cold buffet delights, including savouries, pastries salads and dessert platters, including a 4 tiered 90x 90 cm toy story birthday cake!
We regularly do 3 course Christmas lunches for over 100 people at a time at our regular contracted companies, which are a highlight as the atmosphere is brilliant!
