What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order to provide a full and comprehensive proposal, we ideally require the following information:
Number of guests
Type of food - Canapes, buffet, bowl food etc or maybe you are open to ideas and suggestions?
Cuisine - If you have any preference
Duration of the event
An indication of budget
We appreciate, however, that this information is not always available immediately, especially if in the early stages of planning an event. We find it easier to have a quick chat or meeting with clients not only to run through some details and potential questions but also to run through some initial menu ideas.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We take great pride in what we do - you can view testimonials from new and repeat clients on this site. View our sample menus and if you still need convincing and you are likely to book an event with us, we can provide some food samples for you to enjoy. Our food is all home made to order, wholesome and tasty.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I've always loved cooking. It's always been my passion and now, after a lot of hard work, I am lucky and able to do what I enjoy most. I set the business up 12 years ago so we now have a lot of experience catering for small and large events (up to 300 people) - both private and corporate...It's a family business - My mum helps out with prep and admin and my brother often works at events with my happy and helpful team. We are flexible and accommodating and highly organised.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We catered a birthday party in December in Clapham for 40 guests - they raved about the food! They had a lovely selection of canapes followed by a full buffet including Moroccan lamb tagine, turkey pie, Thai dhal to name a few.
