What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a quote we need to know the following
1. Number of people we are catering for
2. Date and Time also the duration of the event
3. The food requirements with everything mentioned so the quote can be tailored to you

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hopefully the quote when it comes back will give you an idea of what they are offering to do. Also some way of contacting them so you are able to contact them to make sure that the quote is what you are looking for. Remember that you are the customer so if you would like to have something changed or altered then don't be afraid to ask.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I have previously owned a food business and I had the opportunity to start this business to help out the local Horse Shows as the caterers were not giving the service that was required. I have been able to supply the correct catering and have also been asked to do other Horse Shows in the area. That work is mainly in the summer so we are now looking to expand into other events and supply more people the catering options they want.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have sent a lot of quotes on this site and we have managed to pick up a few jobs. I think we are still getting used to submitting the right quotes to enable us to get the work.
We did pick up a great corporate job which had us catering a Breakfast for a staff of 200.
