What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a fair and accurate quote to a customer, it is helpful if they can provide all the below details as best as they can;

*Event date
*Event start and finish time
*Number of attendees/guests (specifying the number children)
*Venue - including if it is indoors or outdoors
*Whether there is access to electricity and water

This will enable us to bring suitable equipment, and design where needed.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is important to understand the menu and products and ingredients being used, to ensure you are getting a satisfactory standard and better yet, high-quality food and service, so ask lots of questions! Check reviews to find out more and get a feel for the service being provided.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

With 7 years of experience in the industry and led by passion and enthusiasm we began generating interest in our services through catering for birthday parties. Soon after, recommendations began flooding in for us to cater for a variety of events.

We want to be known for being diverse and creative, therefore our services include Buffet or Plated dishes with Standard or Silver Service Packages for a variety of multi-cuisine dishes; French, Italian, British, Asian and African. We offer bespoke tailor-made menus upon request, to ensure our clients get the best cuisine for their special day. Important to us, is that we pride ourselves on sourcing local produce and ingredients for our dishes made fresh on the day.

But we haven't stopped there, we have a newly renovated Catering Trailer that has been tantalising taste-buds up and down the UK for the past 3 months, whether it's for festival-goers, fair lovers, community event get-togethers and more!

Our team consists of myself Chef Denis, my partner Eunice and a professional catering staff. But I can't forget our wonderful family and friends who have supported us since our business was just ink on a page.

Add to Event has opened up the door to so many opportunities, many that we hadn't even considered or thought we would come across. It's hard to choose an event that we loved, there are so many! I will just say the first that comes to mind...

At Johns Depot at Bedford - Centenary Anniversary 2019 - Celebrating 100 years of the Bus Depot being in use. With a turn out of over 300 visitors, it was an amazing day seeing an arrest of iconic buses coming in and out of the depot, giving visitors bus tours. Most importantly the food went down very well, with customers constantly buying our tasty burgers and fries and much more from our versatile menu, many impressed with the freshness and generous portions!
