The Bird and Bee is a family run rustic mobile bar company offering a beautifully converted horse box trailer for your event and a wonderful cocktail menu! Their advice when hiring a provider is to ask everything you can think of!

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

A comprehensive quote from our lovely customers requires:

* The event date and nature of the event
* The event location
* Guest numbers - day and evening (number of children too!)
* When the bar needs to open!
* If the horsebox or pallet bars are required or if both are required
* Whether the customer would like a drinks package, if so what would they like it to include
* Is there a premises license in place

Do not worry though, we send a questionnaire out that covers everything!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Get to know your supplier, if they offer to have a chat on the phone then do so! It is important that you understand them and how they work. Do they serve draught? Do they have a minimum spend? Do they do cocktails? Ask everything you can think of! Your service should be bespoke and meet your requirements.

Having worked in the wedding/events industry for over ten years Mrs Bird and Bee took the decision to break out on her own and our first gorgeous horse box bar was born. Whilst still heavily involved in venue general management Ella and her team work hard to provide you with top level customer service and are able to use their experience on the ground to help and advise you along the way.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Add to Event was a new marketing platform for us in 2018 but it is working really well. We are enjoying working with a variety of customers from weddings through to charity events! We have lots in the pipeline and back in November provided warm drinks for a lovely fireworks display. Our hot chocolates with whipped cream and chocolate toppings went down a storm!
