Ceilidh and Folk Band Hire in Aylesbury

"With a clear passion for what he does, Richard made a great Burns Night even better. Starting off with some great work on the piano, Richard then provided ceilidh calling later on in the evening. Many guests commented on how fun the evening was with Richard at the helm, and we will look to book him again for future events. BZ!"

"Had the pleasure of the Rock Ceilidh band (2-band piece) playing for my 21st. They truly made the night, with every guest saying how great they were. The communication prior to the event was fantastic and made me feel at ease before the event. Couldn’t recommend them enough, wouldn’t hesitate to hire for any future events. Thank you Rock Ceilidh Band and many thanks to Mary."

"Kingfolk’s ceilidh band were the soul of the party. The players created well harmonised music, which was a delight to listen too even in the brief times we were not being led in a ceilidh. Loud enough to know we had a band playing yet we could still hear each other. People who had never danced a ceilidh got up to join in and a great time was had by all. Many people commented on the fantastic band. Each member seemed to be there for the pleasure of performing together and sharing the joy of ceilidh. Thank you each of you in Kingsfolk for making my party so special and memorable for all of us. Steven who led the organisation of the event was a pleasure to deal with, always responded quickly and put it all together in record time. Book them!"

"We are so glad we decided to have a Ceilidh caller at our wedding reception. We’re from the U.S. and got married at Fingask Castle in Perthshire with about 20 guests. Honestly, we were worried no one would dance, but Richard made it fun and easy for everyone to join in — even my husband, who never dances! Richard was patient with us Americans who didn’t know the dances, and he explained and demonstrated everything in a way that made us feel comfortable. We ended up laughing, dancing, and having the best time. You can see the joy on our faces in the photos — it was such a highlight of the evening."

"Thank you so much for providing the entertainment for our wedding. You helped make our dreams come true! Our guests couldn't compliment the Ceilidh enough and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. They couldn't stop laughing! Most of my guests had never been to a Ceilidh before but you pitched the dancing just right, explained them so well and had so much patience. Thank you! Please also thank your band members who played beautifully too! I'm still smiling and crying happy tears! You've helped give us some cherished memories, I'll be forever grateful. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Please send me an address if you feel comfortable doing so so I can send you a thank you card when back home xx (Some preview photos attached)."

"The Gallivanters played my daughter’s 21st birthday ceilidh. Did all the usual ceilidh dances and some more unusual ones. Brian talked us all through the dances, so it didn’t matter if you knew them Or not. Could not recommend then highly enough. It’s a great big thank you from Us!!! Met all our expectations and more importantly my daughter dances all night."
