What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, and a potential venue, whether it's an indoor or outdoor event. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable entertainment package.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, ask the provider about the options they are offering, some entertainers will just come and play games whereas we offer shows, magic, balloons and so much more to make your event extra special. Check they have public liability insurance and what entertainment they actually provide.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started entertaining at the holiday sites around 19 years ago and parties are my life - all I ever think about are how I can make that next party even better than the last and what would make each one perfect for the child. I eat, sleep and dream about parties and entertainment and could not think of a better job.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I'm quite new to Add to Event but have had a few bookings already, both bookers were so lovely and the communication was great for both of us. Times, locations and who the party are for are the ultimate information needed and this is all set out at the beginning which makes both of our jobs so much easier, and I can concentrate on making sure I arrange and entertain the best and most perfect party for each child.
