Movers and Shakers Mobile Cocktail Company provide a fully licensed mobile cocktail bar and serve freshly made cocktails with premium brands, bottled beers, prosecco and a selection of mocktails and soft drinks. Cocktails are made at point so the customer gets the full experience. They can even provide a waiter service if the weather pitch size (for seating) and event are suitable.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to be able to give our customers a competitive quote, we need to know the date, how long we would be hired for, how many guests and whether you would like us to design a cocktail menu for them or if they would like to just hire our expertise and equipment. As we can be inside or outside and are fully mobile, once we have those details we can put together the perfect package.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would ask the provider for lots of information about the service and menu they offer. I would also want to know about the setup and what it looks like. As we’re a cocktail bar, it’s the little things that matter such as using the correct glasses and garnishes. I would also ask about the number of staff to make sure service is quick so guests are enjoying an event and not queuing up at a bar.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Movers & Shakers Mobile Cocktail Company was born after many nights drinking cocktails and thinking “we could do this”. Jill & Claire are sisters who together have been working for the past four years at providing amazing drinks as well as a professional service to give guests a night to remember. We pride ourselves on giving the whole experience from designing personalised menus, to serving freshly made cocktails from our mobile bar.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Although we’ve not carried out our first event, we have our very first booking next week. Add to Event makes it so easy to connect with potential customers. The biggest advantage is that we can go directly to them and offer our services instead of waiting for someone to find us. We’ve made so many connections and built a large network and this is down to Add to Event. We’ve three more bookings coming up in the next few weeks that we wouldn’t have without Add to Event.
