What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To enable us to give the most comprehensive answer, ideally we need a clear brief on the date, times, location, number of attendees, and type of service they provide. Sometimes requirements are hidden within sentences so clarity is king to allow a vendor to make the best use of their credits.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for vendors that can back up their claims with reviews and documentation - check their safety certificates, hygiene approvals and have confidence that they've invested appropriately into their business to give you the best possible service at your event. Don't cut any corners as 'low cost' does not always translate to 'good quality'.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Sublime Coffee is owned and managed by Joanne Cadd, a real coffee lover, a people person with a business mind and a passion for high-quality service and sustainability.

Joanne comes from a background of over 20 years in education, and was the headteacher of a very busy school in the midlands.

Sublime Coffee originally started back in 2005, as a very successful hobby business, but due to a young family and work commitments, the idea was put on hold for a number of years.

In 2023 Joanne made the decision to walk away from the stress of public sector life and go it alone full-time as the Sole Proprietor of Sublime Coffee.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Being a car -enthusiast myself, a favourite booking was for a Porsche dealership 'coffee & cars' morning. What's not to enjoy about delicious coffee, fresh pastries on a Saturday morning looking at some fantastic racing cars, and listening to the roar of their engines as they arrive or leave the event. (footnote: I am a bit of a petrol head so maybe it's just me that gets carried away!!). Add to Event offers a multitude of opportunities from the loud and brash to the serene and intimate... they cater for all tastes!
